Jesus speaks of a seed falling into the earth and dying in order to bear fruit. Growth requires release. This week we consider what we are clinging to; roles, identities, habits, narratives that no longer give life. Letting go is not loss for its own sake; it is trust that God is doing something beneath the surface. Lent is the courage to loosen our grip so resurrection can take root.
