We begin the month of May. Today we read the Lord’s prayer and we will focus on the part ‘Thy Will Be Done’ in the Lord’s prayer. Surrendering to God is not just giving up, not having God taking all over. If everything should be done only by God, there is no need for us to pray. But, when Jesus wants us to pray ‘thy will be done on earth’, that means there are things to be done through us and it is to be done for us by surrendering to God so that what we do is part of fulfilling God’s will on earth.
